Our house is moving right along. It is fun to see it in each of it stages and to know that we will be out there in a little over a month. I am feeling a little overwhelmed, with everything that will be happening in the next couple weeks, like school starting, packing up, getting moved, Dr. appointments coming up and so on.But I know we will adjust and everything will work the way it should. The house is all sheetrocked and coming along well.
This is what you will see when coming into the front door. This is our living room.
Right off the living room is the stairs and the hallway that leads to the 3 upstairs bedrooms, bathrooms and laundry
Right off the living room is the dining room and the kitchen is right next to it. The first opening is for the fridge and then the pantry is at an angle.
This is our family room in the basement. It is off to the right. This is one of the rooms I am most excited for, it will allow plenty of room to play, dance, and live.
When coming down the stairs if you go to the left it will take you down a hallway to 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
We have lots of Dr. Appointments coming up in the next month, Emma will be going to see an Endocrinologist this Thursday, because we noticed something unusual at her 18 month appointment and her pediatrician thinks her body is sending out hormones that it shouldn't be. It has felt like a long wait to start figuring out what is going on, but I am glad the appointment is this week. It hasp been really hard not knowing, but I decided that I'm not going to worry until there is something to worry about.
We noticed that when Ruby would talk to us, and be concentrating really hard to tell us things, her left eye would wander. If we made any comment on it, it was like she realized what her eye was doing and it would move back. We got her in for an eye appointment that week. The Optometrist gave us a referral up to the Moran Eye Center so she could see a Pediatric Ophthalmologist so she can be properly diagnosed. He thinks that she is near sighted, and when we found this out we started making connections with some of her behaviors. She often gets close to your face when she talks to you, or she stands really close to the T.V. It makes me really sad that she hasn't been seeing well for a long time, but I am glad that there is technology to find the problem in someone so small. We have an appointment with her Dr. at Primary Childrens in the beginning of September. Most likely they will just have to put her in glasses, so until she gets them we will just ask her Preschool teacher to put up close.
As for me, I have a Dr. appointment in the middle of September on Sarah's birthday. We are thrilled about it! We decided that we would just wait until we were pretty sure to test, but last Sunday Jed said " Do you think we should test today?" We had only one test so I took it, the line was pretty light. So then we were in the same place that we started. I told Jed I wanted to go to the store and get another test. But Jed shot it down immediately and said "Were not going shopping for a pregnancy test on Sunday." So later I suggested that we could compromise and we could stay up until Midnight and then Jed could go get a test. He agreed and came back with pregnancy tests and a snicker bar for himself. We are so excited to have another child! My due date is April 11th or 12th. We have lots of things to look forward to in the coming months.
